I could not help myself from laughing upon hearing this story.

Kyle Busch was presented with the victory trophy (guitar) after winning the Nashville Superspeedway.  Subsequently, he decides to smash his victory Gibson Les Paul guitar into the ground several times like a maniac.  The kicker is that he doesn’t completely break the guitar in half in his first attempt, or the second, or the third…

The artist, Sam Bass, who painted the guitar says he was heartbroken by the incident and says:

“It’s like raising a child.  You start out with nothing and you finish it and you hope people will take care of it. And it was stunning, absolutely stunning to see that thing destroyed within seconds of him getting it.”
